Authorities in Georgia arrested Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf early Saturday morning on suspicion of obstruction, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he reportedly harassed a random stranger for refusing to give him a cigarette, then berated the police for asking him to stop.

“He became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language in front of the women and children present,” police said in a statement. “He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer.”

The statement added: “When the officer attempted to place LaBeouf under arrest, LaBeouf ran to a nearby hotel. LaBeouf was arrested in the hotel lobby, where his disorderly behavior continued.”

This was not the first brush with the law for the actor, whose behavior seems to have grown worse since the election of President Donald Trump, whose agenda he strongly opposes.

Authorities arrested him about six months ago when he tussled with a man outside of an anti-Trump art exhibit he had set up in Queens.

When the man approached the exhibit, LaBeouf reportedly pushed him away and then pulled on his scarf, scratching the victim’s face in the process.

He was arrested shortly thereafter.

The art exhibit had been part of a now-defunct project where LaBeouf broadcast a live video stream and encouraged participants to congregate around the camera and repeatedly chant, “He will not divide us.”

Four months later, the Hollywood actor was sued by a Los Angeles bartender who he had reportedly accosted at a bowling alley a month prior..

Dallas Police Shooter was a Veteran, But a Disturbing Incident in Afghanistan Led to Hasty Discharge

Though the Dallas shooter made his intentions clear over the course of Thursday night, the investigation into the path that led him to allegedly murder five police officers and wound seven others is still taking shape.

One thing that police have determined is that Micah Johnson was a veteran of the Army Reserve and Afghanistan.

Now, as CBS DFW reports, new information emerging about Johnson suggests that he began to display troubling behavior long before the night of fatal violence he perpetrated upon Dallas.

It was during his time serving in Afghanistan that Johnson, who had no official ties to terrorism or a criminal record at the time, faced a serious allegation from a female fellow soldier.

According to military lawyer Bradford Glendening, the 25-year-old Johnson “had been accused of sexually harassing a female soldier and had to leave the service” in April 2015.

The New York Daily News describes the result of Johnson’s “unwanted overtures” towards that soldier, Ana Ma — which allegedly included him “stealing girls’ panties”:

“After lodging a complaint against the Army reservist, Ma requested the military equivalent of a restraining order to keep Johnson away from her and her family — and suggested psychiatric care for her tormentor.”

At that point, Johnson was sent home by Army officials, who recommended that he receive something “other than honorable discharge” — a request that Glendening noted was highly unusual.

Ultimately, however, Johnson was honorably discharged — though it remains unclear why this was the case in the face of such allegations.

After Johnson was identified as the Dallas shooter, other fellow reservists also reportedly weighed in with their own opinions of him, like Wells Newsome, who claimed to be a former bunkmate:

“We all knew he was a pervert cuz he got caught stealing girls’ panties but murdering cops is a different story.

You really never know what someone is capable of until it’s too late.”

Another fellow reservist, Luis Canto, shared a similar view:

“We all knew he was off, man, but no idea he was capable of that.”

Family friend Myrtle Booker, on the hand, said that she saw a marked change in Johnson after Afghanistan, noting that upon his return he was “withdrawn, didn’t want to talk to people anymore, didn’t believe in God anymore.”

While Johnson’s social media accounts have already suggested that he identified with groups that called for the killing of police officers — something he himself stated during his standoff with authorities in Dallas — these revelations, if true, would provide further background on a man who was not an honorable soldier prior to carrying out the heinous murders that July night.

Woman Notices Police Get Quiet When She Walks into Store. Nothing Prepares Her for What They DID Say

A deep sorrow was felt by many who woke up Friday morning to the news of what had occurred in Dallas, Texas, just hours before.

As with the events in Orlando and San Bernardino, such tragedies transcend city and state lines, affecting Americans no matter where they live.

In Andover, Massachusetts, Natasha Howell was attempting to carry on with her day in light of the events, when an experience with a local police officer brought her to tears:

Her account of the exchange, posted the morning of Friday, July 8, reads:

“So this morning I went into a convenient store to get a protein bar. As I walked through the door, I noticed that there were two white police officers (one about my age the other several years older) talking to the clerk (an older white women) behind the counter about the shootings that have gone on in the past few days.

They all looked at me and fell silent. I went about my business to get what I was looking for, as I turned back up the aisle to go pay, the oldest officer was standing at the top of the aisle watching me.

As I got closer he asked me, “How I was doing? I replied, “Okay, and you? He looked at me with a strange look and asked me, “How are you really doing?” I looked at him and said “I’m tired!” His reply was, “me too.” Then he said, “I guess it’s not easy being either of us right now is it.” I said, “No, it’s not.” Then he hugged me and I cried.

I had never seen that man before in my life. I have no idea why he was moved to talk to me. What I do know is that he and I shared a moment this morning, that was absolutely beautiful. No judgments, No justifications, just two people sharing a moment.”

Though the Massachusetts woman’s original Facebook post has since been removed, it didn’t take long to strike a chord in many Americans, reportedly being shared more than 30,000 times within the first hours it was posted.

In the end, Howell’s experience serves as simple, but powerful reminder that especially in times of national sorrow, the recognition of our shared humanity can bring us all together.

Wife Assumes Husband Will Pick up the Slack Around House Until She Realizes There’s Something to Say

Mel Watts, creator of “The Modern Mumma” blog, is the proud wife of a hardworking man named Nolan. And as she tells Independent Journal Review, he does so much more for their family than she once gave him credit for.

Like so many dads, Nolan leaves for work every day to provide for his family. He comes home from work “tired and dirty” but is always willing to help with the work around the house without complaint.

Mel knows how lucky she is, but she acknowledges that she hasn’t always been the best at verbalizing her gratefulness to her spouse. The mom explains an eye-opening experience to Independent Journal Review:

“There were definitely times I forgot to say ‘thank you’ for something, because I just assumed he would do it anyway,” Watts says. “It wasn’t until I was confronted by Nolan that I now make sure I let him know how much I do appreciate him. I think he thought I didn’t appreciate him, but I do.”

After their talk, Mel began taking special notice of just how much of an impact her husband had on her children’s lives—their family wasn’t complete unless Nolan was home.

Mel could never seem to put bandaids on, cut sandwiches, or rock the baby to sleep the way “Daddy does it.” The family was “just not the same” without him, and the minute he would walk through the door “the darkness she was trying to brighten all day has disappeared.”

Mel tells Independent Journal Review that Nolan really is the better part of their marriage:

“Nolan is a man who puts us first every single time. He really is the most amazing father and husband. Our daughters, Ivie and Indie, are ‘daddy’s girls.’ We could all be playing and then as soon as they hear daddy comes home, it’s all over with me and they just hang off him.”

And while Mel realizes that life can get busy and become routine, she knows it’s always important to make sure your spouse always feels appreciated.

In her blog she writes to her husband:

“So heres to you: A man that works hard.
A man that would do anything for his family.
A man who changes diapers.
A man who is so much more than a “step” parent.
A man who dresses up as a fairy – a hairy one.
A man who fixes scooters.
A man who plays peek-a-boo.
A man who would rather stay at home with us every single time.
A man who leaves for work every morning and comes home at night.
I appreciate you. Every single time I really do. Without you this foundation would crumble.”

2014 was amazing! Can’t wait to see what next year brings!

She adds, “I think majority of people appreciate their partners, they just forget to say it.”
