DNC Infuriates Left AGAIN: New Chair Gets Booted from CNN Over Trashing Bernie in Leaked Emails

It hasn’t been a very good day for the Democratic Party, to say the least.

On the eve of the Democratic National Convention this week, the former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, long suspected of backing Hillary Clinton in the primary election campaign, resigned abruptly after growing pressure resulting from leaked emails courtesy of Wikileaks.

The Wikileaks email dump, happening right before the convention, first got Schultz removed from the speaker’s list at the DNC.

In a surprisingly swift move, DWS stepped down as the DNC Chair on Sunday. Then, in a supreme act of hubris, she joined Team Hillary.

Now, it’s already going to be an interesting Democratic National Convention. But as if to kick the giant hornet’s nest that is already the Bernie Sanders hive, the interim chair replacing Schultz at the DNC, Donna Brazile, was busted in the same Wikileaks dump for trashing Bernie Sanders.

Brazile, a CNN contributor, responded to queries about the Sanders campaign in quite…saucy language. RedState reports and exposes the email:

In regards to a question about the CNN commentator discussing a fight between the Sanders camp and the DNC over “adequate representation” on the platform committee ahead of the convention, Brazille replied:

“I have no intention of touching this. Why? Because I will cuss out the Sanders camp.”

This is not the only occurrence, incidentally. Another email:

In response to a query from the DNC over a Sanders statement, Brazile replied:

“I saw it this am. How stupid. Don’t know how to respond to Bernie anymore.”

Subsequently, CNN cut ties with Donna Brazile as she is in line for the DNC Chair position. CNN announced, via Hot Air:

“With news of Donna Brazile stepping in as interim chair for the Democratic National Committee, CNN and Brazile have mutually agreed to temporarily suspend her contract as a contributor for the network effective immediately. As a valued voice and commentator, CNN will revisit the contract once Brazile concludes her role,” a CNN spokeswoman said in an email on Sunday.

If there were another more direct way to kick Sanders supporters in the teeth, it’s hard to imagine one.

When asked about the ramifications of the email leak, Brazile tells Anderson Cooper: “But I do know there’s lot of stuff that we might have to apologize for.”
