Fox News’s Megyn Kelly has taken a few days of vacation and the ratings are reflecting it.
The news anchor of “The Kelly File” has had several fill-ins while she’s been gone, but it turns out that desirable viewers are peeling off and watching something else. That something else could be — MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow … ?

Breitbart reports that Maddow’s show is virtually tied with Kelly’s show with the 25- 54-year-old demographic, which is the most coveted by advertisers.
According to TV Newser, she’s neck and neck with Kelly:

Fox News was beaten in the ratings by both CNN and MSNBC during the Democratic National Convention and, earlier this month, MSNBC announced its best ratings in four years.
Still, when it comes to overall viewership, Fox News is still blowing the doors off the competition.

The soft spot in Fox’s ratings in that desirable demo, however, may also give Fox executives an idea of what might happen if she ever chooses to leave the network.
