Former Governor Sarah Palin is a running fanatic and fitness buff. She’s had five kids and, perhaps if she were anyone else, the personality press might be touting her amazing over-50 body after she revealed a video of her in a bikini.
But she’s firebrand Sarah Palin. So, when she shared this video of her in a bikini on her Facebook page, she got a little snark.
Mediaite wondered why “no one noticed” the video:
“Now, former future Vice President and current former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin can’t even get noticed taking a cool summer plunge in a bikini.
It has yet to crack six figures on Facebook.”
It’s true that the more than 82,000 views of her jumping into a pool don’t measure up to the number of people who watch her political videos:

Her happy birthday wishes to evangelist Billy Graham were seen by more than 740,000 people. Her video about Ronald Reagan received more than 180,000 views. A video about global warming was seen by nearly a half a million people.
After her 2008 star turn as vice presidential running mate of John McCain, Palin’s social media stock was even bigger. But now Palin is being chided for 82,000 views of bikini video.
Maybe her popularity is waning, or maybe people just like her for her brains.
